Additional information

Composition

Two-component primer based on 100% epoxy resins.

Features and applications

  • Adhesive for NIVELAND and PAVILAND systems.
  • Suitable for bonding fresh concrete to hardened concrete.
  • Suitable for bonding hardened concrete to hardened concrete.
  • Suitable for bonding hardened concrete to other materials: fibre cement, metals, etc.
  • Its low viscosity makes it ideal for application through an airless sprayer.
  • Extremely good penetration of the base material.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Substrates

  • The contact surface may be damp (maximum moisture level of 4%) but should be free of standing water and ice.
  • All base materials must be durable, stable, sound and clean, in addition to being free of dust, form release agents (e.g. paint stripper), organic products, etc.
  • Milling and/or sanding of the base material is recommended in order to open the pores and de-scale bonded materials, such as grease, paint, etc.

Instructions for use

  • Mix the separate A and B components.
  • Empty all of component B into component A and mix both components with an appropriate mixer at low speed until a uniform consistency has been obtained.
  • Apply using a brush, roller or airless sprayer.
  • Apply to the chosen base material, while taking into account that the open time for the adhesive ranges from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the temperature and the base material in question.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply in temperatures below 8°C.
  • Do not apply in temperatures above 30°C.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong winds or direct sunlight.
  • Wear protective gloves and goggles during application. In the event of direct contact with the skin or clothing, wash with plenty of soap and water.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
