Mineral mortar for the regularization, levelling and smoothing of surfaces with a thin finish, suitable for absorbent and non-absorbent supports, for white interior and exterior areas.
Special cement base product, selected aggregates and additives, reinforced with fibres.
Mortar preparation
Add 6-7 litres/water per each 25 kg bag; mix it with a mechanic mixer at low speed. You should get a homogeneous paste free from lumps. Do not prepare excessive material if it is not going to be used during the following 30 minutes (at+ 20ºC).
Application of the mortar
Apply Morcem Renovex F with a trowel, pressing, in order to assure the adherence and compact the material firmly.
On absorbent surfaces, spread a first layer of the product, adding extra pressure in order to remove any possible air inside the porous.
Once the mortar has been spread, it is advisable to comb it, with the help of a dented trowel of 6 mm in order to get a homogeneous spreading of the product along the surface.
In this first layer of Morcem Renovex R, soak the Traditerm mesh and smoothen it. Between adjacent meshes make overlaps of 10 cm. The maximum thickness of this first layer with the mesh should be below 3 mm.
Once the reinforced layer is dry, with the help of a trowel, we will proceed to add a second layer of Mocerm Renovex F.
The finish of this second layer can be done by a steel trowel, or a sponge.
The application of Morcem Renovex F (2 layer + Traditerm mesh reinforcement) should have a final thickness between 3 and 6 mm.
For interior applications, the same process should be carried out, however the Traditerm mesh is not necessary
Curing
During especially warm days, we suggest pulverizing water on top of the Traditerm Renovex F surface after 4 hours of its application and in the posterior days once the mortar has already harden, in order to avoid the apparition of cracks.
Finish
For the application of any of the possible finishes, it is necessary to wait a minimum of 48 hours after the application of the last coat of Morcem Renovex F.
The admissible finishes would be Gama Morcemcril, Gama Pumacril, Morcem Estuco Fino and Pumaplast (indoors).
25 kg bags.
1 year storage in its original packaging, away from extreme weather conditions and humidity.
