Sealer based on high-quality silicate emulsion, suitable as base for the subsequent application of Morcemcril Silicato. It Improves adhesion, it makes the application easier, homogenizes the absorption of the substrate and gives an initial coloured coverage.
It favours the coverage and performance of the finish acrylic mortar, maintaining high permeability to water vapour. Excellent application, workability, and adhesion to the substrate.

Features and applications

  • Good coverage.
  • Impervious to rainwater and permeable to air and water vapour.
  • Good resistance to the substrate’s alkali. 
  • Good homogenisation of the product and easy to apply.
  • Substrates must be clean, dry, and free from greases, without cracks or detached materials. 
  • Apply diluted Fijador-Sellador in 3 parts of water in case of non-unified or very porous substrates. 
  • Apply the paint according to the instructions given.

Instructions for use

  • Stir the content until perfect homogenisation.
  • You may dilute approximately 10% in water depending on work conditions and parameters to be sealed.
  • It can be applied by brush, roll or pistole, previously shaking and diluting the product, respectively.
  • Tools must be cleaned with abundant water before the paint dries.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply under 5ºC.nor above 35ºC.
  • Do not apply the product with relative humidity above the 85% nor on wet substrates. Fog or high ambient humidity can delay the final hardening of this material)
  • Keep in fresh and dry places.
  • Due to its strong alkaline character, it is recommended to use protective equipment when managing this highly alkaline product.
  • It is advisable to wear gloves and protective goggles. In case of direct contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with abundant water. 
  • Cover wooden or aluminium frames.

Packaging

12 litres packaging.
Preservation: Store up to 12 months in its original closed container, away from extreme weather conditions.

Timings are given according to temperatures of 23ºC and 55% relative humidity. Periods of time will be shorter at higher temperatures and longer at lower temperatures.
