Additional information

Composition

Product based on cement, selected aggregates and additives.

Features and applications

  • For thickening and leveling interior floors for pedestrian traffic, without the use of wheelbarrows. Not subject to impacts. Little traffic of light vehicles with smooth tires and with a maximum speed of 10 km/h.
  • Suitable for surfaces with under floor heating.
  • High self levelling power.
  • Easy to apply, achieving increased degree of flatness.
  • High mechanical resistance.
  • Floor screeding between 10-60 mm.

Substrates

  • Concrete, mortar flooring, and similar.
  • Substrates must be resistant, stable, sound and clean, free of dust, remains of plaster, paint, demoulding agents, organic products, etc.
  • Prior to applying PAVILAND RECRECIDO AUTONIVELANTE, cavities and/or cracks in the substrate must be adequately repaired.
  • Before applying the product, it must be ensured that the residual humidity of the substrate is below the recommended level (less than 3%).
  • Apply the primer PAVILAND PRIMER R to avoid any air bubbles in the covering and to improve the adherence of the substrate.

Instructions for use

  • Define and mark the maximum levels of the screed.
  • Knead the product with water, starting with 16% on dry weight until reaching a suitable consistency, without exceeding 18% (between 4.0 and 4.5 litres per 25 kg bag). Knead mechanically, with low speed mortar mixers (< 500 r.p.m.) until a fluid and homogeneous paste is obtained (without lumps).
  • Apply the kneaded product by pouring or pumping it onto the substrate and spread it with a levelling trowel, smoothing and correcting any imperfections.
  • For large surfaces, it is advisable to pump the mixture with a double kneading helicoidal pump with a flow rate of 20 to 40 L/minute. This operation allows the optimisation of the laying times.
  • Once the product has been spread, it is recommended to pass a spiked roller over it, in order to eliminate air bubbles, smooth it again with the levelling trowel and thus achieve a completely smooth surface.
  • Thicknesses between 10-60 mm.
  •  Respect the structural joints and execute the perimeter and partition joints.

Cautions and recommendations

  • Do not apply under 5ºC nor above 30ºC.
  • Do not apply when there is a risk of frost, rain, strong wind or direct sunlight.
  • Do not apply on floor with humidity or with a risk of having it.
  • Not recommended for exterior use.
  • Do not add sand, cement or any other product that modifies the original formula.
  • Once the product has been mixed and the resting time has occurred, do not add additional water.
  • For floors with a larger surface area than 20 m2 or more than 10 lineal metres it is recommended to make partition joints, marking simple square sections with joints at least 6 mm wide, filling them with PUMALASTIC PU.
  • Avoid contact with perimeter elements through the execution of perimeter joints, which must be at least 6 mm wide and with a depth between 10 and 30 mm, filling them with PUMALASTIC PU.
  • Before placing the final coating, please verify through the residual humidity is <3% with a carbon hygrometer.

Packaging

Plastic sacks of 25 kg. 1 year in sealed original packaging, sheltered from weather conditions and humidity.
