Features and applications

Instructions for use

• On the substrate, draw a line level, on which the WalAce Starter Profile. will be fixed. The minimum distance between the starter profile and the ground must be ≥ 150mm. 
• The screws that fix the starter profile to the support are placed 300mm apart from each other. The first screw should be placed at a distance of less than 50mm from the edge of the profile. 
• If the surface (on which the starter profile is screwed) is uneven, use profile spacers behind the starter profile, at the points where it is screwed, in order to level the starter profile surface. 
• Between two adjacent profiles there should always be a separation distance of 2 to 3 mm. This separation can be achieved by using starter profile connectors which are part of mounting kits. 

Cautions and recommendations

• At joins between profiles, leave a separation distance of 2 to 3 mm.  
• Fix the profile to substrate with screws at every 300mm.  
• The fastening should be at a distance of less than 50mm from the edge of the profile.  
• The width of the starter profile must the same as the thickness of the insulating panel.  
• The meeting of the support with the WalAce Starter Profile must be sealed by flexible sealant
